Encinitas Surf Report & Forecast: Nov. 23-24

Flat with a very high morning tide.

With a new moon in a couple days, high tides are washing away any sign of breaking swell. It's mostly flat right now. When the tide drains from its 7:00 a.m. peak of about 7 feet, it'll be ankle to knee high at best.

Low tide is at 1:45 p.m. at (negative) -1 foot. Evening high is 8:00 p.m. at 4.5 feet.

Very feeble combo NW/SW swell may produce, at most, 2-foot waves on rare sets.

Onshore, followed by SW winds pick up later in the day, though they will be fairly light.

Water temp is the same as it's been for the last few weeks: around 58-59.

Sunset tonight: 4:43 p.m.

For tomorrow, it looks like yet another Thanksgiving with good surf. If models are accurate, tomorrow could be head high and offshore. Stay tuned!
