Encinitas Surf Report & Forecast: Nov. 28-29

Hopefully everybody scored some fun holiday surf. If you're back to the grind today, take pleasure in knowing the surf has backed off. Call it 2-3 feet with weak sets and short lines. Most waves are checking in at knee-waist high. 

High tide peaks late morning at 10:15 a.m. at 6 feet. Low tide is at 5:45 p.m. at just under (negative) one foot.  

Water temp has remained steady at 59-60. 

Sunset is at 4:42 p.m. 

NW and a barely visible SW swell may improve with the outgoing tide early in the afternoon. 

Winds are calm and will be slightly offshore through morning, before swithching to NW in the afternoon. 

For tomorrow, Tuesday the 29th, new straight-on west swell is supposed to pick up. Chest high sets are possible.
