New SW swell has mixed in with faded NW, producing more consistency today. Swell lines are marching in and some sets are in the waist to thigh high range. Beach breaks are mostly closed out but appear to have better size and power.
Winds are slightly offshore but will switch by mid-day to a weak SW flow in advance of tonight's low pressure system moving in and possibly dumping rain on us. There's a 90% chance of rain tomorrow.
Tide is going out until 11:30 a.m., when it'll be at 2.5 feet; afternoon high is at 5:00 p.m. at just over 4.5 feet.

For tomorrow, Friday the 4th, expect a significant buildup in surf but it likely will be a small-scale Victory-at-Sea kind of day with strong direct onshore or SW winds of at least 15 knots. Models predict wave heights locally to reach head high.
