Surf Report & Forecast for Oct. 22-23

Not worth it this morning; stay in bed.

Weak, inconsistent, crossed-up lines in the ankle- to knee-high range are about all that you’ll get this morning.

Low tide is at 12:30 p.m. at under 2 feet, so beach breaks might fair slightly better than anemic reef setups by late morning.

High tide is at 6:20 p.m. at 4.75 feet; hopefully a mid-afternoon push will produce a window of punchy surf.

Water temp might be 60 at best; with the NW wind swell of the last several days, it feels like the water has plunged a degree or two below 60.

Sunset tonight: 6:07 p.m.

Moderate onshore wind picks up later this afternoon.

For tomorrow, Sunday the 23rd, weak SW swell in the 1-2 foot range keeps us wondering when the ocean will wake up this autumn.
