Encinitas Surf Report & Forecast: Oct. 25-26

It's peak high tide right now at well over 6 feet. There's a New Moon tomorrow, so for the next few days, morning sessions will likely be unproductive. 

There's no sign of swell, but as the tide goes out, we may see some longboard-friendly waves. Low tide is at 3:00 p.m. at a (negative) -0.7 feet. 

Water temp is still in the very low 60s; hopefully it'll warm up a degree or two now that we have sunny conditions for the first time in a while. 

Expect at least knee-high, possibly even waist high waves on occasion as the tide peters out. Winds should remain mostly calm.

Sunset tonight is at 6:04 p.m. 

For tomorrow, Wednesday the 26th, a moderate straight south swell will likely miss Encinitas; instead we'll have a weak NW pulse keeping waves in the knee-high range.
