Surf Report & Forecast for September 13-14

Inconsistent 2-3 foot sets; occasional 4 foot.

With yesterday's full moon, hight tide is still considerable enough to shut down morning sessions. Knee to waist high sets are inconsistent as is but petering out with the 10:10 a.m. high tide of 5.2 feet.

Winds are light and hopefully will remain so, unlike yesterday afternoon's whitecaps. Forecast models call for under 10 knots.

Water temp hovers around 65-66.

Shoulders are soft and short this morning with rare waves connecting all the way in.

Sunset is now before 7:00 p.m. for the first time. Days are getting shorter. Officially tonight, sunset is at 6:58 p.m.

Conditions seem clean. Low tide will be at 4:20 p.m. at just under 1 foot; evening high tide is at 10:30 p.m. at 4.8 feet.

For tomorrow, Wednesday the 14th, the forecast is for 3-4 foot SW sets at 15 second intervals, but that's probably an over-optimistic prediction. It'll likely stay 2-3 feet.
