Surf Report & Forecast for Sept. 20-21

Small day for surf.

It's another day of ankle biters. If you catch a wave and sit down on your board, it may be chest high. Very weak remnant SW groundswell and NW windswell are visible. Go out for a paddle though and you'll likely be by yourself or with just a couple people.

Who knows? Maybe just one fun waist-high peeler is all you need to keep you stoked for the day.

Water temps are steady in the mid-60s.

It's a slack tide day. High tide ever so slowly peaks at 3:15 p.m. at 4.8 feet.

We enter a last quarter moon phase. One week from today will be a new moon so we'll start seeing some higher tides.

Sunset tonight: well, we probably won't have one, but it's at 6:47 p.m.

For tomorrow, Wednesday the 21st, it should be the last day of mostly flat surf before we get a modest-sized NW system coming in.
