Surf Report & Forecast for Sept. 24-25

NW backs off; still occasional waist to chest high.

On this drizzly, first full day of autumn morning, the water looks like there’s still a lot of red tide. There’s some swell lines showing, but they are slow moving, very longboard-friendly, albeit inconsistent.

Mostly waist high on the sets with a rare chest-high bump.

Tide is still high, not yet draining from peak high at 8:00 a.m. at 4.7 feet; low tide is at 1:30 p.m. at 1.5 feet and evening high is at 7:30 p.m. at 5.7 feet.
