Surf Report & Forecast for Sept. 27-28

Combo swell sticks around; knee to chest high.

Heavy red tide isn't stopping surfers from paddling out although with cool, overcast skies, breaks aren't crowded this morning.

Call it knee to chest high. Low crowd factor could be the result of early morning high tides. This morning's: 9:20 a.m. at 6.1 feet.

Continued SW and NW combo may show better size as the tide drains; low tide will be at 3:45 p.m. at -0.3 feet, our first daytime negative tide in quite a while.

With sunset at 6:39 p.m., tide won't rebound in time for a signficant late afternoon session push.

Water temp is 64.

Winds are light and calm and length of ride decent for now, but winds are supposed to pick up later this afternoon.

For tomorrow, Wednesday the 28th, expect same wave size as the past couple days: knee to waist/chest high.
