Surf Report & Forecast for Sept. 28-29
Weak morning session with very high tides; could get a lot better later.

With yesterday's new moon if full effect, there's a peak high tide of 7 feet at 10:00 a.m. Not many breaks will work too well on that high of a tide.
Water still looks like spoiled chocolate milk from the very strong red tide. Early morning showed inconsistent, musy waist high, short lines.
This afternoon, though, things could get significantly better when the tide drains. At 4:30 p.m., tide reaches rock bottom at -0.6 feet, so around 1:00 p.m. or so might be ideal, as NW swell mixes with some trace SW swell and a possible tropical storm pulse from the SE.
