Moonlight Beach in Encinitas will be home to the 9th Annual celebrity surf contest and concert thrown by local band Switchfoot, which is preparing to release a highly anticipated new around-the-world concert movie and album called "Fading West" in October. Fans from around the world are expected to pack the sand for the free event.
