'Tangerine Sunset' Over Moonlight Beach: Photo Of The Day

ENCINITAS, CA — Patch reader and Encinitas resident Katy Brown captured this photo of a "tangerine sunset" over Moonlight State Beach.

"There are sunsets that capture your attention, and on occasion, there are sunsets that take your breath away," Brown said. "I've never experienced a tangerine sunset like this before and could not look away as the coral clouds faded to gray in a matter of minutes."
