Tennis tournament on Sunday, Nov. 9, in honor of sister who has MS

Carlsbad resident Tricia Bothmer is hosting “Let’s Hit an Ace for MS,” a fundraising tennis tournament for women starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in San Diego. Bothmer, First VP and Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management, is organizing the tournament in honor of her sister Tracy, who lives in Chino Hills, Calif., and was diagnosed with MS in 2000. The public is invited to attend the fundraiser and donate to the National MS Society. A raffle drawing will be held. The tournament will feature 32 entrants playing in a round-robin format.
