Tips Sought In Encinitas Sexual Assault
"A woman told deputies she woke up to a man sexually assaulting her," sheriff's Lt. Joel Stranger said.
ENCINITAS, CA — Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who sexually assaulted a woman last week in Encinitas.
The victim said a man attacked her shortly before midnight Friday while she was sleeping in her home in the 2000 block of Carol View Drive, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
"A woman told deputies she woke up to a man sexually assaulting her," sheriff's Lt. Joel Stranger said. "She was able to chase the man out of the apartment."

The woman described the attacker as a roughly 5-foot-4, 120-pound man between 18 and 23 years old. He had black hair in a "bowl cut" style. He was shirtless and wearing black basketball-type shorts.
