To recognize the 40th anniversary of the fall of Saigon and the end of the Vietnam War, please join us for a special screening of the film A Village Called Versailles by Leo Chiang and a trailer for the upcoming film Seadrift by Tim Tsai. Both films document the lives of Vietnamese immigrants, their struggles and their triumphs, as they settle into life in America.

Tsai’s film is based on research by Dr. Thao Ha, professor of sociology at MiraCosta College. Both directors will attend the event and be available for discussion after the screening.

For more information, email professor Thao Ha at tha@miracosta.edu.
