WANTED: 2 Men Accused of Stealing FitBits from Target in Encinitas

ENCINITAS, CA: Do you recognize these men? 

Investigators with the North Coastal Station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department released surveillance images and video of the two men Monday in the hopes that someone in the public knows who they are.

The pair is suspected in the recent shoplifting of two FitBit Blaze fitness trackers — worth $200 a piece — from Target on North El Camino Real in Encinitas.

Sheriff's Sgt. Richard Eaton said that just before 7 p.m. on May 29, the men were captured on surveillance cameras removing the items from a display shelf.

"They took the items to another section of the store to remove the security tags," Eaton stated in a news release. "One of the suspects then hid the fitness trackers in his jacket."

The first suspect was described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old. He is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and was wearing black pants, black shoes and a black letterman's jacket with the letters "EC 06" and "Price" on the back.

The second suspect was also described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 195 pounds. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a white polo shirt, blue jeans and red shoes.
