When Local Shelter Pets Are Ready For Their Close-Ups, Who's Behind The Camera?

Rancho Coastal Humane Society shares video of the coordination and volunteer efforts that go into the "adopt me" photographs.

NORTH COUNTY, CA – Meet "Hart," a Belgian Malinois mix, shown in the above photo, up for adoption and a newbie at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas.

Hart will be available for prospective, qualified families on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. (An adoption application can be found here:http://rchumanesociety.org/wp-...) But meanwhile, who snapped Hart's glamour shot for the shelter's web site? And all the other photos posted on the adoption page?

That's a coordinated effort of workers and volunteers devoted to the well-being of the dogs, cats, rabbits and other critters in need of forever homes. The folks at Rancho Coastal Humane shared on its Facebook page a video of what goes into the adoption process behind the scenes. Take a look ...
