1 Hurt In Postal Truck Crash In Tarzana

TARZANA, CA — One person was injured Sunday in a crash involving a postal service truck in Tarzana.

The crash happened about 1:20 p.m. near 18500 Hatteras St., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

The crash left the truck overturned on the street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles police Valley Traffic Division.

Paramedics took one person to a hospital, Stewart said.

There's no word yet on the person's condition, age or gender.

Postal service employees were sent to the scene to secure the mail, Stewart said.
