2 Youths Killed In Fiery Lamborghini Crash On Burbank Boulevard
Two young adults died in a high-speed Lamborghini crash that sheared the car in half and started a small brush fire in Encino.

ENCINO, CA — Two young people died in a fiery Lamborghini crash in Encino Wednesday night.
Authorities believe the sports car was racing along at speeds reaching 100 mph when it struck an SUV and careened into tree, sheering it in half and causing a brush fire around the wreckage. Both the driver and the passenger died at the scene.
“It looks probably like an exhibition of speed,” said Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez. “The Lamborghini hit a tree and caught on fire, and two people were killed.”

The crash happened at about 7:10 p.m. at Burbank Boulevard and Hayvenhurst Avenue, said Lopez.
According toKTLA, the driver was a 25-year-old man, and the passenger was a 19-year-old woman. One person died inside the vehicle and another appears to have been ejected, according to video from the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
