3 Injured When Car Hits Pedestrians in Tarzana

A driver struck two pedestrians Sunday, sending both the pedestrians and the driver to the hospital.

TARZANA, CA — Two pedestrians and the driver who hit them were injured in a crash Sunday in Tarzana, according to authorities.

It happened about 3:15 p.m. at 5540 N. Yolanda Ave., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

One of the injured was in critical condition, Stewart said.

It's unclear if the critical case was one of the pedestrians or the driver.

Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
