4 Injured When Police Chase Ends In Ventura Boulevard Crash
A stolen-car chase ended in a three-car pile-up on Ventura Boulevard and the suspect getting away.
ENCINO, CA — Two Los Angeles Department police officers and two other motorists suffered injuries Wednesday when a stolen-car chase ended in a three-car pile-up in Encino. The suspect driving the stolen vehicle wasn't involved in the crash and was able to escape, according to police.
The crash happened on busy Ventura Boulevard at Rubio Avenue, shortly after 10 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The two officers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The two other motorists were treated at the scene and released.
The suspect vehicle was not involved in the crash and kept going after the patrol car crashed. No vehicle description was given.
