Aloe Skin Care Available At Encino Farmers Market

Shoppers are getting their hands on the beauty cream that goes more than skin deep.

If you suffer from dry skin, redness or eczema, the Corium 21 booth at the Encino Farmers Market sells a beauty cream that might be able to help.

The product, called Corium 21 Aloe Skin Healing Cream, is made with an aloe that activates oil glands and is used primarily in burn centers. Other products claim to use aloe, however, there are 180 species and 2,200 varieties of aloe all of which vary in their healing potential.

Sunja Ackerman, 72, is the owner of Corium 21. She says the aloe in her product has the power to restore seriously dry skin into healthy, glowing skin. The product is made of natural ingredients, she says.
