Berman Receives Endorsements From 3 U.S. Senators
The fight for the 30th Congressional District continues.

Rep. Howard Berman received the endorsement of three U.S. senators Monday – two Republicans and an independent – in his battle against fellow Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman for the right to represent a redrawn San Fernando Valley congressional district.
In a statement, Berman said the endorsements from Republicans John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut was an ``unprecedented development.''
Berman, who finished second, 10 points behind Sherman, in the seven- candidate June primary, previously has been endorsed by California's two Democratic senators – Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer – and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
