Bomb Squad Clears Suspicious Package at Tarzana Whole Foods
A suspicious item at a Whole Foods market on Ventura Boulevard turned out to be a bag of trash.

UPDATED 12:05 P.M.: A suspicious package that triggered evacuations at a Whole Foods market in Tarzana turned out to be a bag of trash.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, bomb squad investigators were called to the scene, and quickly rendered the package safe.

A suspicious item was found at a market in the 18700 block of Ventura Boulevard in the Tarzana. A bomb squad is headed out to investigate the item, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
