Blog: Have Your Team Vote for Employee Recognition

At our family tow-truck business, R.B. Towing, we have employee appreciation all over the place.  It’s nice to have awards based on statistics—such as the one we have for Michael, a driver who gets 75 percent of stalled cars started.

Managers can also pick an employee to be recognized based anecdotally on performance, but here’s a way for a business to show its appreciation as a whole—survey the team.

You can use pen and paper or go the modern route by using Constant Contact surveys or a free Google Form.

Put yourself in your employee’s shoes. If you have 19 people voting for you, how does that feel? It feels amazing!
