"I am proud to endorse Janice Kamenir-Reznik for State Senate,” said Hertzberg. “She has the experience we need to rebuild our state infrastructure and create jobs, make higher education more affordable and most importantly stand up and fight for the San Fernando Valley.”

"I admire Senator Hertzberg's staunch advocacy for the residents and businesses of the San Fernando Valley,” said Kamenir-Reznik. “I look forward to working with Bob to bring about sensible political reform, and to finally bring a fair share of transportation dollars to the San Fernando Valley."

Kamenir-Reznik co-founded a successful non-profit organization that fights genocide and atrocities and is serving its victims and survivors in Darfur and the Congo. She helped found the California Women’s Law Center, where she served as President and worked to protect a woman’s right to choose. As a County Commissioner, Janice partnered with then-Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky to establish a legal self-help center for working families that cannot afford an attorney. And, as President of California Women’s Lawyers, she worked to close the judicial gender gap by helping qualified women get appointed to the bench.

Janice Kamenir-Reznik has been endorsed by Senator Dianne Feinstein, former Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, and the California Nurses Association. For more information, please visit www.janice2016.com.
