COMMUNITY SCHOOL LAUNCHES ONLINE AUCTION TO IMPROVE PLAYGROUND
Nature-based preschool and elementary hopes to raise $7,500 by Nov. 19
Reseda, Calif. – Nov. 6, 2017 – Little Acorns Grow, a small community preschool and nature-based elementary school in Reseda, launched an online auction today to raise money for playground improvements.

The auction at http://auction.littleacornsgrow.net includes 100 fun art and local activities, including Lakers tickets, improv classes, surf lessons, pottery classes, horseback lessons, dinner at Trois Mec and 5-star vacation rentals near University Studios and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to discover activities in our community and to support local children,” Melanie Martin, the school’s administrative director, said. Many students from the school live in Encino and Tarzana.

The school hopes to raise $7,500 through the online auction, which ends at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19.
