Crews Rescue Hiker, 70, In Tarzana
Los Angeles firefighters worked to find and hoist a 70-year-old hiker to safety in in Tarzana.

TARZANA, CA — Los Angeles firefighters worked to hoist to safety a distressed 70-year-old hiker in the Tarzana area Friday morning.
Air and ground crews conducted an exhaustive search for the man before finding him in distress Friday morning near 4200 North Reseda Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Crews worked to lift him to safety so he could evaluated and treated, she said.
