See highlights and interviews of Encino's 16-5 loss to Crescenta Valley.
Encino Little League lost its first game of the season Saturday evening at El Dorado Little League in Lancaster. The game was called after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule as Crescenta Valley defeated Encino 16-5.
Noah Levin was 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored. Shawn Goosenberg belted one RBI and scored once. Sam Gilderman and Josh Perlmutter scored one run each.
The loss means Encino must win four games in the next four days if they are to advance to the Sub-Divisional round.
