The Encino Neighborhood Council Elections are quickly approaching! Our election date is May 4, 2021.

Have you signed up to be a candidate in the upcoming election? The candidate filing period will close on February 16th at 5pm. All positions are open and this is your opportunity to make a difference in your community. To register as a candidate, please visit: https://clerk.lacity.org/elections/neighborhood-council-election

That will take you to a new web page, once there click on "Candidate Filing" then "NC Candidate Filing Portal" - from there create an account and follow the steps to get your candidate application in.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all voting will be by mail or at a drop-off location. You will need to request a ballot. Ballot requests will start on March 5, 2021, and end on April 27, 2021. You will not be able to request a ballot before March 5th, please make a note of the date. Starting on March 5th, please visit https://clerk.lacity.org/elections/neighborhood-council-election

By being on the neighborhood council you will be able to work closely with our City Officials, weigh in on important legislation that affects Encino, take action on new developments and work with the community to solve issues such as; homelessness, airport concerns, help shape the City budget, traffic, land use and many, many others.

Don't delay, get your candidate application by the closing date of February 16th!
