Encino Wildfire Quickly Doused by Crews

Investigators gave already determined the cause of the fire.

Seventeen Los Angeles firefighters put out a one-acre blaze in an Encino park Sunday night in 15 minutes, an official said.

The fire was reported at about 10:15 p.m. in Woodley Avenue Park, in the 5600 block of Woodley Avenue at Burbank Boulevard, said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, Humphrey said. Fireworks were suspected as the cause of the fire.
