Presence in Parenting focuses on supporting the growth and development of families with young children. Parenting classes, private coaching, and behavioral consulting for families with young children are offered. The purpose of the work is to empower families to make informed choices in their care for and relationships with their children.
Using Breakthrough Parenting® techniques, these classes take you through 10 lessons that will teach you to communicate effectively with your child, discipline with love, promote self-control vs. parental control, and build healthy self-esteem. These classes are also designed to help you understand how children think, behave, and engage with their environment. Classes are offered through sessions over eight weeks or in weekend intensive sessions. Small class size of 3-5 families each session is preferred. Each group is tailored towards the age range of children in the families of each group and these classes have been sucessful with children of all ages and different family structures.
