Love art? Love Local? Join us for the “Handmade Galleries LA Pop-Up To Fight Poverty” event, benefiting the Whole Planet Foundation on Saturday, March 31, from 12pm-4pm.
We have collaborated with a phenomenal group of resident artisans from Handmade Galleries LA in Sher...man Oaks – rated among the “Top 25” of Los Angeles Magazine’s most celebrated gift shops – to create a “pop-up” Handmade Galleries experience at Whole Foods Market Tarzana. There will be more than a dozen artists and craftspeople showcasing and selling an extraordinary array of uniquely handcrafted jewelry, fine art, soy candles, vintage upcycled serveware, handmade organic soaps, and other wonderfully eclectic gift items.

The artists have generously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from their sales to the 2012 Whole Planet Foundation Prosperity Campaign, which provides micro-credit loans to women in developing countries. These loans help women start home based business that bring their families and communities out of poverty. Our store goal is to provide 86 loans to families in need, and your support will help us to get there! So come on out and get HANDMADE!
