HILLS, CA. The Woodland Hills~Tarzana Chamber of Commerce presents the Valley Regional Forum's town hall discussion of Propositions 30 and 38 on the November
Ballot. Participants include: for Prop 30, from the California Teachers Association, Chris Busheefor, for Prop 30, Sandy Escobedo, a Senior Policy Analyst with the Advancement Project; in opposition to both taxes Adrian Moore, Ph.D., and vice president of policy at Reason Foundation; and with analysis, Matthew Ward, Ph.D, Vice-President, Cal Lutheran University.
The debate will be held Wednesday , October 10th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Woodland Hills campus of

Prop 30 and 38 will raise income taxes on wealthy Californians and sales taxes on all Californians. The purpose of Prop 38 is to provide a predictable stream of tax revenues in support of public schools from K through 12 Prop 38 is the hottest topic on the November 6th election ballot. The issue pits Governor Brown against Ms. Munger, an attorney and social activist on the future of California. The Governor has said that Prop 38 is a road block to his tax initiative, Prop 30. Prop 30 would also
impose a multi-year, multi-billion dollar sales and income tax for state government in general.
