The fire damaged an office building in the 17000 block of West Ventura Boulevard at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday . Crews quickly put out the flames in the three-story building, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The cause of the fire was under investigation. Officials did not release an estimate of the damage.
