A fire today damaged an attic at a single-story home in Encino. Firefighters were dispatched at 11:32 a.m. to 4407 Medley Place. Crews had the fire out within 18 minutes of their arrival, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. No injuries were reported, Scott said.City News Service
