Firefighters Battle Tarzana Restaurant Fire

Firefighters needed 18 minutes tonight to knock down a blaze inside a restaurant in a strip mall in Tarzana.

The fire inside the Greystoke Grill at 18395 Ventura Blvd. was reported at 10:03 p.m., Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

No injuries were reported, according to Humphrey.

The department dispatched 40 firefighters to the scene and kept the fire contained to the restaurant, Humphrey said.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
