Firefighters Douse Flames at Tarzana Commercial Building

It took 32 firefighters 20 minutes to put out the blaze.

Firefighters took 20 minutes tonight to knock down a fire inside the rooftop heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit of a commercial building in Tarzana.

The fire in the 18700 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Wilbur Avenue, was reported around 9:30 p.m. Los Angeles Fire Department representative Katherine Main said.

The fire was fought by 32 firefighters, and no injuries were reported, Main said.
