Thirty-four firefighters took 13 minutes to knock down a fire at a one-story, vacant home in the 17300 block of Sherman Way in Lake Balboa, says Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. There were no injuries as a result of the fire, which was reported at 3:48 p.m. --City News Service
