Girl, 15, Dies in Possible Hit and Run in Tarzana

Police are trying to figure out how a girl was found bleeding in the road after hanging out with a group of teens in Tarzana.

A 15-year-old girl was killed in a possible vehicle- related accident in Tarzana, it was reported today.

The victim was found by a friend lying bleeding on the ground in the 3500 block of Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana around 9:15 p.m. Monday, said an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.

The friend took the victim to a hospital, where she died, the officer said.

LAPD Detective Bill Bustos told ABC7 the victim had been among a group of 10-15 teens gathered at the scene. Police had been given conflicting accounts of the incident, NBC4 reported.
