Homicide Detectives Investigate Tarzana Man's Death

Authorities were called to a home in Tarzana Monday where a man was pronounced dead.

TARZANA, CA -- A man was found dead Monday in his Woodland Hills home and police said homicide detectives were investigating his death.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Division were asked just after 5 p.m. to respond to the 5000 block of Queen Victoria Road for a medical emergency call, said LAPD Officer Mike Lopez.

Responders found an unresponsive man and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel attempted to revive him but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, Lopez said.

Homicide investigators were looking into the man's death, Lopez said, but police did not disclose what prompted the investigation or if any foul play is suspected.
