House Fire Reported in Tarzana

A fire burned Friday in a home in Tarzana, but no one was injured.

The fire was reported at 6:36 p.m. at 19533 Friar St., near Victory Boulevard, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

With 37 firefighters on the scene, the flames were under control in 19 minutes, Scott said, adding that the bulk of the fire was in a single room.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
