Laker Legend Derek Fisher's Tarzana Home Burglarized; $300,000 in Jewelry Taken
Police are canvassing the Tarzana neighborhood where Derek Fisher lives for clues.
TARZANA, CA — Lakers legend Derek Fisher was the victim of a burglary Monday when someone broke into his Tarzana home and stole more than $300,000 worth of jewelry.
The theft occurred sometime between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. Monday morning when the house was empty, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Officer Sal Ramirez. Authorities are canvassing the area around the home in the 5800 block of Shirley Avenue for evidence such as video surveillance.
Fisher won five championship rings with the Lakers, but authorities have not yet said if any of the rings were taken.

“The investigation reveals unknown suspectS made entry into the home and took off with over $300,000 worth of jewelry,” Ramirez said.
