Paramedics Respond to Hiker in Distress Near Braemar Country Club

The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

A hiker was taken to a hospital in serious condition today from a trail near the Braemar Country Club, authorities said.

Paramedics were sent to the area near the 4000 block of Reseda Boulevard about 12:35 p.m. on a report of a hiker “in distress,” said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The nature of the woman’s medical problem was not disclosed.
