Police Seek Help Finding Missing Valley Woman

A 66-year-old woman went missing in the Valley Nov. 1 after visiting the VCA Animal Hospital on Reseda Boulevard.


Police today released video of a missing 66-year-old woman who visited a Reseda animal hospital on the day she went missing.

Juliah Karwitha was captured on surveillance video about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the VCA Animal Hospital in the 6900 block of Reseda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

She was last seen headed south toward Bassett Street, police said.

Karwitha is black, 5 feet 3 inches tall, about 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a brown hat, brown scarf, green sweater, black pants and blue shoes when last seen.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800. After-hours and weekend calls can be made to (877) LAPD-24-7.
