Police Seek Puppynapper

Have you seen this puppy? His name is Major Ralph, and a thief took him during a burglary in Studio City.

The Los Angeles Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect who broke into a Studio City home and stole a puppy.

The six-month-old French bulldog puppy named Major Ralph was taken Sept. 4 when the suspect broke into the victim’s residence on Wrightwood Drive by smashing a window. The thief stole various items and made off with Major Ralph. However, the suspect’s vehicle was captured on surveillance camera.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black 2008-2014 GMC Yukon Denali with “Simi Valley Buick GMC” paper plates and license plate frame.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Detective Joseph Hampton or Detective Noah Stone, North Hollywood Area Burglary Detectives at 818-754-8381 or 818-754-8377. Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.
