Suspected Car Thief Crashes Into Home On Reseda Boulevard

A 45-year-old woman was hospitalized and arrested after allegedly leading police on a stolen car chase that ended when she crashed: BREAKING

RESEDA, CA — A police chase of a suspected car thief came to an abrupt end in Reseda Monday when the driver crashed into a home and had to be rushed to the hospital.

The chase lasted only a minute, said Officer Sal Ramirez of the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers began pursuing the suspected car thief at 3:14 p.m., and a minute later they had her in custody, he said.

“The vehicle crashed into a house at Reseda (Boulevard) and Heart Street,” said Ramirez. “And she was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.”

The suspect, a 45-year-old woman, is being taken to a hospital, added Ramirez.
