Tarzana Sex Offender Gave Pregnant Women Ultrasounds, Prosecutors Allege

A doctor whose license was revoked for sexually abusing a patient allegedly continued to perform ultrasounds in the Valley.

Los Angeles, CA -- A man who had his doctor's license revoked after being convicted of sexually abusing a patient at a Northridge hospital is facing possible prison time for allegedly conducting ultrasound exams on pregnant women at a Panorama City clinic.

If Kevin Pezeshki, 47, of Tarzana, is found to have violated his probation, the former doctor could face up to four years in prison, according to the District Attorney's Office.

A probation violation hearing began today, and is scheduled to resume Wednesday.

Pezeshki pleaded no contest in 2013 to one felony count of sexual battery by fraud.

He admitted to inappropriately touching a female patient during a 2008 exam at Northridge Hospital Medical Center and was sentenced to three years probation and a year of counseling. The judge also ordered Pezeshki to register for life as a sexual offender.

Prosecutors now allege that the former doctor performed ultrasounds on two women at San Joseph Medical Center.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Gregory Dohi revoked Pezeshki's probation on June 27 in response to those allegations.
