Visionary Parenting Workshop in Encino for Parents with Children Ages 12-18

Raising children is a tough job but when the middle years (ages 12-18) hit, it becomes exceedingly challenging. West Coast Counseling and Group Therapy Center’s Cori L. Page, MFTI specializes in these issues in her practice and will present a workshop “Visionary Parenting: The Middle Years” on October 4, 2014. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Encino office located at 16055 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 1222, Encino, CA 91436. Participants will be given parking validation stickers. Cost for attendance is $75 per person, which includes refreshments during a 30-minute refreshment break. Workshops are limited to a maximum of ten participants and space will be sold on a first come first serve basis. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop for parents of preteens through high school aged children, will equip parents to engage with their youth. Participants will learn how to balance their child’s growing needs for autonomy, responsibility, self-esteem, and empathy for others. They will learn how to develop avenues of genuine communication to foster emotional development, conflict resolution, and wise decision-making.

Cori L. Page received her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from the Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena. She trained in Restoration Therapy for couples and families, which she uses in conjunction with other systemic models to help clients understand how they get stuck in damaging patterns and empower them to reshape their lives. Cori is passionate about teaching members within the family system to communicate healthfully. She also loves working with couples to transform marriages and heal wounds caused by infidelity and addiction. Her cross-cultural studies allow her to relate with many cultures and faith traditions.
