3 Injured In Escondido Bus Crash
A North County Transit bus collided Sunday with a pickup in Escondido, officials said.
ESCONDIDO, CA – A North County Transit bus collided Sunday with a pickup in Escondido, sending one person to the hospital and injuring two others, according the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District.
The crash took place about 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Del Dios Highway and Elm Lane, fire protection district spokeswoman Julie Taber said.
Three people were injured in the crash, she said. One person was hospitalized for treatment of moderate injuries. The other two people suffered minor injuries and declined to go to the hospital.

The crash was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol, Taber said.
